Rosemary Essential Oil is prepared from the top few flowers by steam distillation. The liquid obtained has pale yellow hue. The essential oil has camphor like aroma, widely used in burial sites in Rome. The oil is a purifying agent, and cleanses the air from particulate matter. The oil has use in preparation of cosmetics. It also has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial powers. Rosemary Essential Oil has culinary purpose too.

- Rosemary Essential Oil may not be advised for children under age of 6 years.
- The oil is not recommended for applying on mucous membranes of eyes and ears.
